Pro-Family Canadians - Canaries in the Coal Mine!

Canada is probably the furthest down the line to outright Woke tyranny of any Western nation. So events in Canada over the last few days give us all a dire warning of what's coming our way as our own PC elites catch up with Justin Trudeau.

The catalyst for the new lurch towards LGBTQ totalitarianism was the huge protests against trans and homosexual indoctrination in schools. Scores of thousands of concerned parents came out on the streets to support the 1MillionMarch4Children demonstration called by a group of Muslim parents.

All too predictably, the response of the Trudeau regime and other left-liberal elitists was not to listen to the parents, but to double down on attacks against them.

Trudeau issued an extremely intolerant rejection of their demands. Police officers used pro-pervert Antifa violence as the excuse to close down rallies and cut speakers' microphones. Vicious attacks on peaceful protesters by far-left thugs were ignored by the police.

In the days following, things are getting even worse. Regional councillors in Waterloo  are hastily pushing through a local bylaw that would prohibit any communication, word, sign or gesture on publicly owned property that makes persons who identify as LGBT “feel harassed,” “offended” or “troubled.”

If passed, this draft bylaw will empower officers to remove “offenders” from any municipal property and potentially fine them $250.

In other words, if this passes, the #1MillionMarch4Children will never again be permitted to take place in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo on the grounds that certain people may “feel” offended, based on their “gender identity,” “gender expression,” or “sexual orientation.”

Below is an excerpt from the report that region staff have prepared for Councillors, explaining the key highlights of the bill.

The new “prohibited activity”, if passed, states as follows with the additional definitions:

“communicating, causing or permitting communication, with any person in a way that causes the person, reasonably in all the circumstances, to feel harassed;” (emphasis added)

“communicating” and “communication” includes but is not limited to words spoken, written, or recorded electronically or electro-magnetically or otherwise as well as gestures, signs or other visible representations;”

“harassed” includes, but is not limited to:

(a) feeling tormented, troubled, worried, plagued or badgered; or

(b) experiencing objectionable or unwelcome conduct, comment, bullying, or actions that could reasonably cause offence or humiliation, including conduct, comment, bullying, or actions because of race, religious beliefs, colour, disability, age, ancestry, place of origin, marital status, source of income, family status, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation;”
