It's a new Democrat low - using the language of religion and faith to defend the butchery of unborn children. Abortion is a "sacred obligation", according to White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby.
The Democrat infanticide advocate made the appalling comment while speaking after Sen. Tommy Tuberville, a Republican from Alabama, blocks hundred of senior military appointments in protest at the Biden regime's support for abortion in the US military. The Republican push-back against the Democrat push to 'wokify' the military also includes opposition to the promotion of the LGBTQP+ agenda.
Sen Tuberville says he will not back down unless the Defense Department scraps its policy offering support to service members who need to travel out of state for terminations after the Supreme Court scrapped abortion protections last year.
Kirby let rip in response: "Whether it's about female service members, one in five, or female family members being able to count on the kinds of health care and reproductive care specifically that they need to serve, that is a foundational sacred obligation of military leaders across the river."
